Goodwood Festival Of Speed
Our event photographers capture flying cars at prestigious speed festival

Creative visual content for a prestigious event

Crate47’s event photographers and video makers capture the sculptural centrepiece at Goodwood Festival of Speed every year. Littlehampton Welding Limited fabricates and installs a brand new Gerry Judah sculpture at the Goodwood Festival of Speed each year. These feature some of the most prestigious car brands in the world. Each individual sculpture is completely different from the last and invariably inspires awe and delight in the many visitors to the annual automotive festival. Our event photography goes to great heights to capture every artwork in detail.

We delivered: Photography | Aerial Photography & Video | Videography, Editing & Production

All areas covered by our event photographers

Since 2012, Crate47’s event photographers and videographers have recorded each of these impressive sculptures. Using a combination of time-lapse and still photography, together with video, we document both the workshop fabrication and on-site construction, as well as the finished pieces. In addition to a final video, we create engaging sequences of images of each sculpture for Littlehampton Welding’s website and social media.

Videography of the highest level…..literally!

Crate47 Productions created a video to promote the reveal of the sculpture for the 2016 festival launch which showed tantalising shots of the BMW sculpture. Aerial footage taken by our state-of-the-art drone meant we could film using full 360º rotation which produced some stunning panoramic views and dramatic shots taken from unusual vantage points. Our event photographers have continued to do this for every subsequent year.

“ It’s always a pleasure seeing my Goodwood sculptures on film, given they are only up for a couple of weeks. The process of their fabrication and installation by Littlehampton Welding is nothing short of heroic, therefore fantastic it’s on record. The care and execution by Crate47 in their film making is exemplary and visually exciting, and I look forward to future collaborations.”
